Taylor "Joe" Cooper

Taylor "Joe" Cooper is a native of Alcoa, TN, having gone through Alcoa City Schools from middle school through High School. While at AHS, Joe was a state-championship football player all four years, a soccer state-championship runner-up, and graduate of the 2010 class. 

After graduating from AHS, Joe attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, playing Rugby for the Volunteers his first semester. Joe then joined Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at UT where he served as the Vice-President, leading the chapter to its all time recruitment record in chapter history and nationally, for the year. Joe would go on to earn a German degree, with a concentration in Language and Literature, in 2014.

Following his undergraduate studies, Joe attended Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert school of law, earning achievements as a top 10 oralist in his freshman year, membership to the Louisiana Law Review his second year, and leading LSU Laws Moot Court Board as its President in his final year. Joe was also a charter member of LSU Law's E.D. White Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta; a columnist for LSU Law's publication, The Civilian; an officer of the LSU Law Tennis Club; and was active in LSU Law's Running Club during his tenure. 

Today, Joe Cooper practices in a myriad of concentrations including personal injury, criminal defense, wills and estates, and business formations. Although not limited to these areas, Joe prides himself in being a "hometown lawyer," ready to meet any needs of his clients, many of whom have built a strong, personal relationship with him in and outside of the legal realm.
